Arts Enrichment: Arts Enrichment is a 2-hour weekly program specially designed for 3 to 5 year olds that combines visual art, movement, and music. Each week, young artists explore themes and concepts while developing essential language, social, cognitive, and fine and gross motor skills through creative and interactive expression. Each class includes a supervised snack and story time. Special discount will be given for registering in two or more Arts Enrichment classes. ArtSpark: ArtSpark is a 75-minute weekly program specially designed for 2 to 3 year olds that combines visual art, movement and music. Each week, young artists explore themes and concepts while developing essential language, social, cognitive, and fine and gross motor skills through creative and interactive expression. Each class includes a 15 minute snack time (snacks not provided). Parent participation is required. Art Exploration: Have fun with watercolours, tempera paints, pastels, chalk and more. Learn all about composition, colour and texture while painting, drawing, and making collages and prints. Instructor: Alexis Seto


Drawing & Sketching: In this combined level course, the instructor will work with students based on their skill and experience level to learn drawing and sketching techniques with drawing tools such as graphite, pen and ink, charcoal and chalk pastel. In Level 1, beginner students will learn foundational skills for creating images and illustrations. In Level 2, intermediate and advanced students will learn more experimental and challenging techniques for creating images and illustrations inspired by traditional and contemporary artists. Painting and Drawing: Have fun learning painting and drawing skills using graphite, charcoal, pastels, watercolour, tempera and acrylic paints. Explore techniques for creating unique works of art including landscape, figures, animals, portraits and still life. Kindergarteners welcome. Instructor: Tami Cline (Tues); Alexis Seto (Sat)


Stop Motion Animation: Learn how to make short stop motion animation films! Students will use clay, paper, lego, toys, found objects and more to bring their imagination to life while learning about camera set up, filming, character and story creation, set building,and beyond. Instructor: Yunuen Perez Vertti


Teen Fine Art Studio: Are you a 14 to 17 year old interested in pursuing a future in visual art or design? Are you looking for more studio time and mentorship to build your portfolio for application to art school? Teen Fine Art Studio, led by a professional artist, is a twice weekly course that will provide you with extended studio time to explore and experiment more indepthly with techniques and materials such as watercolour, tempera and acrylic paints, pastel, chalk, charcoal and more. Create projects inspired by your own ideas and imagination while building skills in painting, drawing, mixed media, collage, and sculpture. This class prepares you to submit a portfolio for post-secondary admission. This class meets Wednesdays, 6:00-8:00 PM AND Fridays, 4:00-6:00 PM. Students are welcome to bring a snack for a short break during the class. Instructor: Michael Allard
